LOUDOUN BALLET PERFORMING ARTS CO.
The Loudoun Ballet Performing Arts Company
Come Join us for our Eighth Season!
We are delighted to announce our upcoming 2024-2025 season will be filled with entertaining ballets for all ages. This season's line-up includes our fall production of The Wizard, our beloved Nutcracker in December, and Don Quixote in the spring.
Celebrating its sixth season, the Loudoun Ballet Performing Arts Company (LBPAC), Loudoun’s premier pre-professional ballet company, provides a positive and uplifting experience for its dancers through participation in high-quality ballet performances that enrich our community. LSB owners, Cherie and Michael Maroni, founded LBPAC in 2016 to give devoted dancers additional training and performance opportunities outside the traditional classroom and recital setting.
Through the generous financial support of its patrons, donors, and grantors, LBPAC, a 501(c)(3), provides dedicated Loudoun County ballet dancers with the opportunity to share their talent and passion with appreciative audiences. Committed to their art, many since they were very young, our dancers train year-round to mesmerize audiences in three full-length, grand-scale ballets each season (October through May), inspiring the next generation of ballet dancers.
LBPAC invites ballet dancers ages eight to 19 to audition each spring for Company, Apprentice, and Junior Apprentice positions. Auditions are open to all Loudoun County ballet dancers, and 50 to 60 dancers are selected to dance with LBPAC each season. Our holiday Nutcracker performance welcomes an additional 100 community cast members for non-Company roles for ages 4 to adult. The Nutcracker auditions are in September of each year. LBPAC rehearses at LSB, its home studio, and performs throughout Loudoun County.
LBPAC’s repertoire includes: Deep in the Forest, The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Peter and the Wolf, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beatrix Potter, and The Little Mermaid.
